The Ayersville Pilots will head out on the road to  take on  the Archbold Blue Streaks  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Hopefully Ayersville focused on turnovers this week  as the team gave up 26 on Friday.
 Ayersville is headed into the  game out to prove that what happened against Patrick Henry  on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Ayersville had to suffer through a   52-18 loss at the hands of Patrick Henry. The Pilots were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  45-6.
  Allison Eldridge was Ayersville's leading scorer, having posted six points.   
 Avery Knueven took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.
 Meanwhile, Archbold put another one in the bag  on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Edgerton by a score of  57-50. While the Blue Streaks didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
 Archbold pushed their record up to 5-0 with the  victory, which was their third straight  at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 60.7 points per game. As for Ayersville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
 Ayersville took their  win against Archbold  when the teams last played  back in December of 2023 by a conclusive  55-33. Will Ayersville repeat their success,  or does  Archbold have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
