On Wednesday, Harrison made easy work of Mercy McAuley and carried off a 13-6 victory. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Wolves recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Josie Harness made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off seven hits. Those nine strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run and five RBI.
In other batting news, Harrison got a massive performance out of Mo Miller, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Those two RBI gave Miller a new career-high. Khloe Legner was another key player, going 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, one triple, and one run.
Meanwhile, Badin was able to grind out a solid victory over Monroe on Tuesday, taking the game 9-4.
Like Harrison, Badin also got a great game from a two-way player: Phebe Kiefer. On the mound, she struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up four earned runs off eight hits. Kiefer was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kendall Ponatosaki, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Avery Snyder, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.
Badin always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .515 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.
Badin's record is now 3-0. As for Harrison, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Harrison got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 against Badin by a conclusive 11-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
