Dylan Cerciello Turns in Season-Best Performance
Sadly, Dylan Cerciello posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Saddle Brook over Weehawken on Friday. Cerciello rushed for 185 yards and five touchdowns. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August of 2023. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 105 rushing yards dating back to last season.
This year, Cerciello has run in 11 touchdowns while averaging 100 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had four rushing touchdowns.

Jayden Gatyas posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He made seven total tackles. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 52 yards.
On the year, Gatyas has averaged 5.4 total tackles per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 47.29 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 82.71 rushing yards.

Michael Napolitano was instrumental in extending Hasbrouck Heights's winning streak to three on Friday. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 207 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Pj Coffey and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Butler picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Pj Coffey. Coffey did his part (and then some), picking up 128 receiving yards and a touchdown for the 'W'.
Butler pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Coffey and Butler will challenge Glen Rock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

David Smith Has Career-Day on Friday
Butler picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to David Smith. Smith was dynamite, throwing for 188 yards and two touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes, and also rushing for 60 yards and a touchdown. Those 60 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
This year, Smith has thrown 19 touchdowns (and and only 1 pick) while averaging 154.9 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he had two passing touchdowns.
