Softball Recap: Bryant Gets the Win

Bryant's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They skirted past the St. Paul's Episcopal Saints 8-6. The Hurricanes haven't had any issues with the Saints recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Bryant got a big performance out of Juliana Walker, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Those two runs gave Walker a new career-high. Katelyn Hamilton also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Bryant's win bumped their record up to 3-16. As for St. Paul's Episcopal, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bryant will venture away from home to square off against Faith Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Paul's Episcopal, they will head out to take on Citronelle at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.33 runs per game on average), something the Saints will no doubt try to take advantage of.
