The Clint Lions lost against the Mountain View Lobos back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Clint was beaten by Mountain View 66-38. Clint has not had much luck with Mountain View recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Matthew Slosar was nothing short of spectacular for Mountain View: he scored 17 points along with five rebounds and four steals. It was the first time this season that Slosar scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Chris Mendoza, who scored ten points along with four steals.
Clint's defeat dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Mountain View, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-18.
Clint will head out on the road to challenge San Elizario at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mountain View, they will be playing at home against Immanuel Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Mountain View focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Tuesday.
