After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Shining Star Sports Academy, Concord Academy was happy to have turned things around  on Thursday. They snuck past the TPLS Christian Academy Lions with  a  55-49 victory.
 Concord Academy found their leader in freshman  Justice Alexander, who  posted 23 points along with six  rebounds and three  steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which  Alexander has scored at least a third of Concord Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Faith Bekich, who  dropped  a double-double on 14 points and ten  rebounds.
Concord Academy is  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last nine contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record  this season. As for TPLS Christian Academy,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 3-7.
 Concord Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  a  41-37  defeat against Winston Salem Christian on the 20th.
