The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Roosevelt in their matchups with Burke Catholic: they've now lost four in a row.
When it comes to explaining why Roosevelt lost, one person who can't be blamed is Presley Kafeero. Despite the final result, he only rushed for 60 yards and and a rushing score.
It was another big night for Liam Benzinger, who rushed for 182 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry.
Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Burke Catholic, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.
Roosevelt will be playing in front of their home fans against Chester/Seward Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Burke Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
