 Niobrara/Verdigre has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were four  points away from ending the streak, but they lost a  44-40 heartbreaker at the hands of Wynot.
 Niobrara/Verdigre's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Chambers/Wheeler Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8.
 Chambers/Wheeler Central was taken down by Niobrara/Verdigre 57-24 in their previous matchup  back in January of 2024.
