The Lake Quinault Elks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a serious blow against Crescent, falling 68-18. Lake Quinault has not had much luck with Crescent recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Leading Crescent to victory were Henry Bourm and Lukas Love. Bourm scored 18 points along with five steals, while Love dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds. The contest was Love's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Dominiq Sprague was another key contributor, scoring six points along with three steals.
Lake Quinault's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Crescent, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.
Lake Quinault will head out on the road to face off against Darrington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Crescent, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Wishkah Valley at 6:30 p.m.
