Powell never let their opponents score on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Campbell County Cougars. Considering the Panthers have won nine matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Powell is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.9 runs over those games. As for Campbell County, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-18.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Powell will square off against Karns at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Campbell County, they will venture away from home to take on Apostolic Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Flames have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.47 runs per game on average), something the Cougars will no doubt try to take advantage of.
