The Wilson Warriors walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Lexington Golden Bears. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Golden Bears recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
Jack Darby and Cayden McCormack made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Darby struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits. Meanwhile, McCormack tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance gave him a new career-low in hits. At bat, Darby scored a run while going 2-for-5, while McCormack scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Coming up, Wilson will square off against Brooks at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lexington, they will head out on the road to face off against Hatton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hatton will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Lexington surely won't give up without a fight.
