Despite the defeat, Live Oak saw an underclassman step up: Harjot Kular scored 31 points. That was a full 60.8% of Live Oak's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Aaron Rogers, who scored nine points.
Live Oak bumped their record down to 2-17 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Durham, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.
