Benson barely beat Thatcher the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bobcats blew past the Eagles 10-2 on Monday. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by eight runs or more this season.

Benson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-10-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Thatcher, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Benson will square off against St. Augustine Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bobcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wolves have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season. As for Thatcher, they will head out to take on Sabino at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Sabercats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.21 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
