Batavia came tearing into Friday's matchup with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.1 points) and they left with even more momentum. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 42-39 win over the New Richmond Lions. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 65-47 back in December of 2024.
