Rison barely beat McGehee the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Owls with a sharp 11-1 victory on Tuesday. Considering the Wildcats have won six matches by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Rison's fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-3. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for McGehee, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rison will head out to take on Hamburg at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for McGehee, they will venture away from home to face off against Harmony Grove at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Owls are facing the Hornets at the right time seeing as the Hornets are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
