Despite the defeat, Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville saw an underclassman step up: Kali Hazzard scored 20 points. Sydney Hazzard was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Richfield Springs Central's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
