Jae Walker posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out six batters over 3.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off two hits.

Walker's strong effort led Clairton over Monessen and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
