They had to suffer through a rough 63-10 loss at the hands of Green Mountain. Platte Valley was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-5.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Green Mountain to victory, but perhaps none more so than Taylor Ellington, who scored 11 points along with 8 assists and 4 steals. Ellington is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Grace Herrig, who scored 15 points.
Platte Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Green Mountain, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Platte Valley's road trip will continue as they head out to face Legacy at 5:00 p.m. on December 8th. Hopefully Legacy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 28 on Wednesday. As for Green Mountain, they will head out on the road to face off against Mead at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Colorado (Mead is ranked 38th, while Green Mountain is ranked 53rd).
