Baseball Game Preview: West Harrison Hurricanes vs. Pass Christian Pirates

The West Harrison Hurricanes will head out on the road to square off against the Pass Christian Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

West Harrison is headed into the game having just posted their biggest win since April 13, 2024 on Tuesday. They blew past Pass Christian 11-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hurricanes.

Dezi Curley spent all five innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on one hit.

At the plate, West Harrison let Reece Parker and Cameron Sandel loose on the outfield. Parker scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Sandel went 2-for-3 with four RBI and one triple. The dominant performance gave Sandel a new career-high in RBI. Another player making a difference was Tyler Gazzier, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Pass Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for West Harrison, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
