The Liguori Academy Falcons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They fell 53-41 to Prep Charter.
When it comes to explaining why Liguori Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Naiem Scott-Allen. Despite the final result, he scored 16 points. Scott-Allen scored a full 39% of Liguori Academy's points, the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Daviel Calderon was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Liguori Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Prep Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 2-6.
Liguori Academy will head out on the road to face off against Kimberton Waldorf at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Prep Charter will finish 2023 at home by hosting Bishop McDevitt on Saturday.
