Despite the loss, Wood River still got an impressive performance from Waylon Cronk, who rushed for 56 yards and a touchdown.
Fillmore Central found their leader in underclassman Trevor Roach, who rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns. Dom Harding was another key contributor, rushing for 79 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.
Wood River's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 1-8. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 9.3 points per game. As for Fillmore Central, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
