The Lincoln Lions put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Couldn't have asked for a better start to 2024 than the 96-41 blowout they got at home against Providence Country Day. Fans of Lincoln have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Lincoln had a senior duo take command as Camden Dichiara scored 32 points and Wayne Mcnamara scored 26 points. The contest was Dichiara's eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Bergeron, who scored 12 points.
Lincoln pushed their record up to 8-0 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Providence Country Day, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Lincoln will head out on the road to face off against Cranston West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cranston West is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games. As for Providence Country Day, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Johnston at 6:30 p.m. Johnston has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 206 points over their last three matches.
