On Friday Holston take on Battle at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps state rankings project a close contest.
Everything went Holston's way against Twin Springs last Friday as the team secured a 44-0 win. The Holston offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the match anyway.
Meanwhile, Battle might have drawn first blood against Virginia, but it was Virginia who got the last laugh. Battle fell to Virginia 13-20.
Holston's victory lifted them to 2-0 while Battle's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll see if Holston's success rolls on or if Battle are able to steal their positive momentum.
