While Greenwood's victory against Har-Ber wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bulldogs won a match that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Wildcats 43-42. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Bulldogs' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas football rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Wildcats are ranked 37th).

Greenwood had a senior duo take command as Kane Archer rushed for 117 yards and three scores and Champ Davis gained 248 total yards and two touchdowns.

One reason for the win was Greenwood's imposing defensive line, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Jin Sayadeth, Cody Johnson, and Brock Shepard, who each picked up one sack apiece. Sayadeth was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making nine total tackles.

Greenwood's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Har-Ber, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Greenwood and Har-Ber will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Bulldogs see the field they'll take on Shiloh Christian at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Har-Ber, their break will end when they face Bentonville at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th.
