Windermere Prep won the last time they faced Jones and things went their way on Monday too. The Lakers put the hurt on the Fightin' Tigers with a sharp 67-44 victory. The Lakers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 23 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Windermere Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Connor Corris, who went 7-for-11 to rack up 17 points along with eight boards and five assists. Corris has been hot, having posted eight or more rebounds the last seven times he's played. Tristen Tucker was another key player, shooting 67% from the field on his way to 12 points in addition to seven boards and six assists.

Windermere Prep smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in four consecutive games.

Windermere Prep's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Jones, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-6.

Looking ahead, Windermere Prep will be home for the holidays to greet Jackson County at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Lakers will need to watch out since the Blue Devils have now posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups. As for Jones, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-38 victory against Tavares on the 17th.
