Fort Wayne Wayne's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Davianna Irons, who scored 17 points. Khalise Collins was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds.
Fort Wayne Wayne's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fort Wayne Wayne will challenge Huntington North at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Lakeland Christian Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
