This season hasn't been kind to the Summit Charter Bears, who are still winless after their eighth match. They were beaten by Andrews 81-8 on Monday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Summit Charter has scored all season.
Leading Andrews to victory were Logan Shuler and Cameron Rattler. Shuler scored 19 points along with four steals and two blocks, while Rattler scored 22 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. It was the first time this season that Shuler scored 15 or more points. Eli Aguilar was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five assists and four steals.
Summit Charter dropped their record down to 0-8 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Andrews, their win bumped their record up to 16-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Summit Charter will challenge the Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Andrews, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Braves at 8:00 p.m. on January 30th. Cherokee has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 335 points over their last five matches.
