Frankfort had a senior duo take command as Vannessa Guardado dropped a double-double on 26 points and 12 rebounds and Saira Flores scored two points along with 11 rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Guardado has scored all season.
Frankfort's victory ended a 16-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-18. As for Clinton Prairie, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-17.
Frankfort will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Southmont at 7:30 p.m. Southmont is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games. As for Clinton Prairie, they will head out on the road to square off against Eastern at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
