With a playoff game on the line, the Grace Christian Patriots rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They walked away with a 52-43 victory over the Eagles. The victory was just what Grace Christian needed coming off of a 67-43 defeat in their prior match.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jeremiah Reid, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Reid has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Persio Figueroa, who scored 12 points.
Grace Christian's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Heritage Christian School, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-6.
Grace Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Heritage Christian School also has no future games currently scheduled.
