 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Benjy Cardone, who  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while going 2-for-3.  Christian Dart was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in two of his three plate appearances.
 On Isle of Wight Academy's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Drake Williams, who  went 2-for-2 with  an  RBI.
 Highland is  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last nine matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 24-5-1 record  this season. As for Isle of Wight Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6.
