Mesquite. He won one game and struck out two batters.
First place in the league belongs to
Desert Ridge, which has compiled a 21-12 overall record to go with its 11-3 league record. The Wildcats are in second place, -0.5 game behind with a 13-4 record in league play.

Mesquite's pitching staff dominated this week, allowing only seven hits and three walks, both of which led the league. On the season, the Wildcats have allowed just 231 hits, while striking out 229 batters.
Spencer Applebach leads the Wildcats with 63 strikeouts in 62 innings pitched.
Although
Rincon finished first in the league this week with 219 hits, Mesquite still sits atop the the league leaderboard with 333 total hits this season.
Zach Smutzer has a team-best 33 hits this year, and the Rangers went -1--2 this week.
