Sarasota found their leader in underclassman Paisley Binswanger, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Binswanger pulled down eight or more rebounds. Sofi Miller was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 17 rebounds.
Sarasota has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Port Charlotte, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sarasota will take on Charlotte at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Charlotte is ranked 47th, while Sarasota is ranked 61st).
