On Wednesday Marist will have to hit the road after three straight games at home. They will challenge the Druid Hills Red Devils at 5:30  p.m. Marist is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.8  runs per game  this season.
 Marist's pitching crew heads into the  matchup  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Thursday. They blew past Northview 16-0. Considering the War Eagles have won seven contests by more than five  runs this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
  P Drake was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  struck out eight batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Drake was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-2 with two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  K Mosley was  incredible,  firing off two  home runs, five  RBI, and three  runs while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was  H Greeley, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-3.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Marist  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 15  hits. That's the most  hits they've posted since  back in September of 2023.
 Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Druid Hills' offense. They lost  10-0 to Northview on Tuesday. The Red Devils have now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Marist is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven games,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record  this season. As for Druid Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
 Marist took their  victory against Druid Hills  in their previous meeting  back in August of 2021 by a conclusive  15-0. Does  Marist have another victory up their sleeve, or will Druid Hills turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
