Softball Recap: Eunice's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Eunice extended their winning streak to three on Wednesday, bumping their season record up to 14-12 in the process. They beat the Laguna Acoma Hawks by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 18-7. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by seven runs or more this season.

As for Laguna Acoma, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-9. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly 11 runs.

For Laguna Acoma's part, Kaylee Lorenzo made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Lorenzo has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Tavani Scott, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

Eunice wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 9-4 loss against Rehoboth Christian on the 7th. Laguna Acoma does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
