Clear Lake lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Deer Park, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's contest. The Falcons blew past the Deer 7-1 on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won seven matches by six runs or more so far this season.

The win was the third in a row for Clear Lake, bringing their record up to 15-5. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Deer Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Clear Lake is set to take on their familiar foe Clear Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Falcons 3.6, the Wildcats 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Deer Park will face off against rival Brazoswood at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
