After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Westview, Burke was happy to have turned things around  on Friday. They blew past the Bryan Bears 73-46 on the road. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bulldogs needed considering they were shutout in their previous   contest.
  Nate Collins was  his usual excellent self, throwing for 347 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 12.4 yards per attempt, and also rushing for 72 yards and two touchdowns. A healthy portion of that aerial production (126 yards to be exact)  went to  Brayden Gammel, who also brought in a  receiving touchdown.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Burke was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 280  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've managed all season.
 Bryan lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Alarion Russell, who picked up 76 receiving yards and three touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of  Isaiah Morgan, who rushed for 140 yards and a touchdown.
 The  win  got Burke back to even at 2-2. As for Bryan,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-3.
 Burke will be playing at home against Fremont  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Bryan, they will challenge Millard North at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
