The MacArthur Generals's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight defeat. They fell 66-55 to Spring. While losing is never fun, MacArthur can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1066th, while Spring is ranked 345th).
Tadarius Wade went supernova for Spring, scoring 16 points. Wade is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Bryce Archie was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
MacArthur has been struggling recently as they've lost 20 of their last 22 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-28 record this season. As for Spring, the win got them back to even at 16-16.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. MacArthur will take on Benjamin Davis at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Benjamin Davis will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something MacArthur surely won't give up without a fight. As for Spring, they will be playing at home against Dekaney at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Spring focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Friday.
