The Altamont Indians won the last time they faced the Flora Wolves, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Altamont snuck past the Wolves with a 43-38 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Altamont.
Altamont's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kade Milleville, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. It was the first time this season that Milleville posted two or more blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaidyn Miller, who scored eight points along with 12 rebounds and three steals.
Altamont is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Flora, their loss dropped their record down to 12-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Altamont will face off against the Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City is on a five-game streak of home wins, the Indians a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Flora, they will head out on the road to take on the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Carmi-White County is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
