The Wink Wildcats will challenge the Forsan Buffaloes at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Wink is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.6 runs per game this season.
On Tuesday, Wink got the win against McCamey by a conclusive 19-4. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Badgers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Viviana Flores was a major factor no matter where she played. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI, three runs, and two doubles. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Wink got a massive performance out of Kaylee Jones, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. That's the most runs Jones has posted since back in February. Khloe Mendoza was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
Wink kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as McCamey didn't got any hits.
Meanwhile, Forsan came tearing into Tuesday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Owls by a score of 9-6.
Like Wink, Forsan also got a great game from a two-way player: Maddie Roach. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off eight hits. Roach was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.
In other batting news, Ary'Anna Mealing was a standout: she fired off two home runs and three RBI while going 4-for-4. Another player making a difference was Elyssa Amaro, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.
Forsan pushed their record up to 9-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Wink, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.
Friday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Wink has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .487. However, it's not like Forsan struggles in that department as they've averaged .501. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
