The Livermore Cowboys will head out on the road to  challenge  the Granada Matadors  at 7:15  p.m.  on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
 Livermore will bounce into Friday's   matchup after  beating Foothill, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Livermore strolled past Foothill with  points to spare on Friday, taking the game  31-14.
 It was another big night for  Kamarri Robinson, who rushed for 189 yards and a touchdown while picking up 11.1 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional  as that marked his eighth straight game with at least 108  rushing yards.  Ct Harper was in the mix  as well, providing Livermore with two touchdowns.
 Livermore didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Aj Carey and  Griffin Lee. With that strong performance,  Lee is now averaging an impressive 5.2  total tackles per game.
 Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better  (just ask Granada). They blew past Dougherty Valley 48-20  on Friday. Given the Matadors' advantage  in MaxPreps' California football rankings  (they are ranked 322nd, while the Wildcats are ranked 746th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Granada got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Jack Badger out in front who threw for 155 yards and two touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also rushed for 63 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries. Another player making a difference was  Estevan Duarte, who gained 130 total yards and a touchdown.
 Granada was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 372  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've managed all season.
 Granada now  has a winning record of 5-4. As for Livermore, their record now sits at 6-3.
 Livermore came up short against Granada in their previous matchup  back in November of 2023, falling  35-25. Can Livermore avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
