Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask High Point Academy). They put the hurt on the Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers with a sharp 79-59 victory on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Grizzlies have posted against the Fighting Tigers since December 4, 2018.

Several Fighting Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Chase Hoover, who went 5-for-8 to rack up 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ty'Korian Campbell, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds.

The victory got High Point Academy back to even at 2-2. As for Blue Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

High Point Academy will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Broome at 7:30 p.m. on the 12th. As for Blue Ridge, they have already played their next contest, a 75-69 defeat against Chapman on the 3rd.
