Prescott has gone a perfect 5-0 against Mohave recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Badgers will face off against the Thunderbirds at 7:00 p.m. Mohave took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Prescott, who comes in off a win.
Prescott's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Mingus 48-0. That 48 point margin sets a new team best for the Badgers this season.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Braylon Johnson and Jacob Chamberlain. Johnson rushed for 149 yards and three scores on only 15 carries while Chamberlain rushed for 211 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 8.1 yards per carry. Kenny Miller-Terry was in the mix as well, providing Prescott with two touchdowns.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Prescott proved: they limited Mingus to a paltry 0.7 yards per carry. The team can thank Trace Overton for the heroic effort on defense: he. Prescott didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 7.9.
Prescott didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kingston Douthit and Overton. Prescott received some extra help from Miller-Terry, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Meanwhile, Mohave came up short against Bradshaw Mountain on Friday and fell 31-21. The Thunderbirds haven't had much luck with the Bears recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.
Prescott will have to contain Joe Yoney as he made an impact in Mohave's last game. He threw for 256 yards and three TDs while completing 72.4% of his passes, and also rushed for 75 yards on only eight carries. Yoney also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making 12 total tackles and defending one pass.
Mohave's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Prescott, they now also have a winning record of 3-2.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Prescott has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 273.6 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Mohave struggles in that department as they've been averaging 230.2 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Everything came up roses for Prescott against Mohave when the teams last played back in October of 2020, as the squad secured a 55-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Badgers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
