Waller came tearing into Friday's contest with eight straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Cypress Falls Eagles by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Waller easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-8.

Waller was led to victory by Kristin Nichols and Marley Eckerman. Nichols had five digs and two aces, while Eckerman had five digs. That's the most digs Nichols has posted over her last five matches. Katelynn Winfrey also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Waller's victory bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Cypress Falls, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Waller wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Barbers Hill on the 23rd. As for Cypress Falls, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Stafford on the 23rd.
