Buckeye Trail had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on the Malvern Hornets with a sharp 9-1 win on Monday. That eight run margin sets a new team best for the Warriors this season.

Buckeye Trail's victory bumped their record up to 4-14. As for Malvern, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.
