That's the first time this season that Carroll scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Daniel Guandolo, who scored 14 points.
Charlotte Christian's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 5-14. As for Providence Day, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.
Charlotte Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Cannon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cannon knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 23 matchups -- so hopefully Charlotte Christian likes a good challenge. As for Providence Day, they will head out on the road to take on Covenant Day at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in North Carolina (Covenant Day is ranked 36th, while Providence Day is ranked 27th).
