Despite the defeat, Richfield had strong showings from Shelby Jones, who scored 10 points along with 9 rebounds, and Kasey Hendren, who scored 9 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. Hendren scored a full 33.3% of Richfield's points, the sixth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Oakley pushed their record up to 5-0 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 24 points. As for Richfield, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oakley will take on Grace at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
