The Hill School Rams will venture away from home to challenge the Peddie Falcons at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hill School is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.
Hill School was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Pottstown on Thursday. The Rams put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 16-1 win. The Rams have beaten the Trojans the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Trojans has come to flipping the script.
Cheyenne Flamer was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Flamer was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Willow Gall, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, two doubles, and one run. She is on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now got three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Julia Slaney also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.
Hill School always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .767. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Peddie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 14-4 to Germantown Academy.
Chloe Salapatas made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Kent, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Peddie's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Hill School, their record is now 2-6.
Peddie's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Hill School hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .379. It's a different story for Peddie, though, as they've only averaged .249. Will they be able to contain Hill School's hitters?
Hill School beat Peddie 16-12 when the teams last played last Wednesday. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
