On Friday, Mountainair put the finishing touches on their 7th blowout victory of the season. They took the game and then some with a 54-6 victory over Menaul. Mountainair were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The win was the 6th in a row for Mountainair, as they raised their record to 7-1. The loss dropped Menaul's record to 2-4.
Mountainair will be staying on the road in two weeks, facing off against Alamo Navajo. As for Menaul, they will face off against Alamo Navajo. Neither of these teams wants a repeat from their last game since each was dealt a considerable defeat.
