Eau Claire and Columbia are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2016, but not for long. The Eau Claire Shamrocks will head out on the road to take on the Columbia Capitals at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Eau Claire is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
Eau Claire can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Columbia 55-19 at home. Given Eau Claire's advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 117th, while Columbia is ranked 260th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Quindia Nelson, who scored 14 points along with four steals.

Everything came up roses for Eau Claire against Columbia in their previous matchup on Tuesday as the team secured a 55-19 victory.
