Chris Oladokun threw for four touchdowns as
Alonso (Tampa, Fla.) bested
Riverview (Fla.) 42-13 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by Oladokun to
Marcus Mosley in the second quarter, the Ravens led 21-0 at the half.
Alonso expanded its lead to 35 points entering the fourth quarter. AHS scored three times in the third, including once on a touchdown pass by Oladokun to
Brandon Robinson.
Coming into the game the Tampa school had allowed 20.3 points per game this year. The defense really stepped up, holding the Sharks right around their season average of 12.3 points scored per game.
The loss was the fourth in a row for Riverview.
Alonso (5-3) will play a 8A District 6 game against Plant next week, while Riverview (2-6) will take on Newsome also in a 8A District 6 game.
